Shipping and payment
Courier companies try to ensure timely delivery of the order on the specified day or time interval. Their goal is to deliver the shipment on time, mainly following customer requirements.
Main factors for timely delivery:
Correctly entered data: When ordering, it is important to enter the correct address and contact information so that the courier has all the necessary information for timely delivery.
Communication from the courier: The courier company will send you an SMS or e-mail with an approximate delivery time. Some of them allow you to change the delivery time or address even during the day.
Tracking: Courier companies provide online package tracking so you know when to expect delivery.
Delivery at the exact time: Courier services allow the selection of an exact time interval, for example between 10:00 - 12:00, this service is charged in the amount of XY euros.
Payment options:
Card payment:
Immediate payment: After entering the data from the payment card (card number, expiration date, and CVV code), the payment is processed immediately.
Speed of processing: A fast way to pay because the money is withdrawn from the card immediately, which means that the e-shop can immediately process the shipment and then send it.
Security: Payment gateways use data encryption, two-factor authentication is often required (e.g. verification by SMS code).
Payment by transfer:
Longer processing: After creating the order, you will receive details of the seller's bank account (IBAN, variable symbol). You must then enter the payment manually in your internet banking.
Duration: Payment by bank transfer may take 1-2 working days, which may increase the time of processing the order and sending the goods.
Security: Paying by bank transfer is safe, but you need to be careful to enter data correctly, such as the variable symbol or account number.
Both methods are reliable, however paying by card is usually faster, while a bank transfer may be convenient if you don't want to use your card online.
